After being diagnosed with Endometriosis, I started baking healthier versions of my favourite treats (mainly cakes) to help control my symptoms.
I believe life is too short not to enjoy your favourite foods and I’m on a mission to bring flavour and excitement back to those living with health issues and food intolerances.
Jan 2018I set up Hannah’s Pantry from my kitchen and started selling my Cakes to friends, local cafes and at Greenwich Market. I launched my website as an online Cake shop for customers to order their celebration cakes quickly and easily.
Jul 2018I could see a clear gap in the market for Cake Mixes which were gluten free, vegan friendly, refined sugar free, aswell as free from artificial ingredients and unnecessary sweeteners. I couldn’t wait to create a product which would allow my customers to bake my delicious recipes from the comfort of their own home. I chose my two best selling celebration cakes and launched a small volume of Cake Mixes in these flavours as a market test.
May 2019I was hand packing and delivering every order from my kitchen, but with demand quickly increasing I decided it was time to outsource production and delivery to allow the business to reach its full potential.
Sep 2019With amazing customer feedback and sales increasing, I wanted to ensure the Cake Mixes were the absolute best they could be. I made a couple of tweaks to the recipes and the packaging underwent a few updates. I re launched the Cake Mixes in eco friendly packaging shortly after receiving a 2 star Great taste award.
20202020 is off to a fantastic start with record breaking sales and new retailer launches fast approaching. I’m only getting started on my journey, but my dreams and aspirations for Hannah’s pantry are getting bigger day by day, and I am so excited for you to join me on my journey.
